My Christmas wish

Dear Santa,

I have made many mistakes this year, I hurt many people… 

Christmas is NOT about expensive gifts, expensive dinners, drinking,… It is about forgiving, family and friends, thinking about those who cannot celebrate a happy Christmas because of illness, disaster, war, hunger, loneliness, being homeless,…

Dear Santa, all I wish for is to be forgiven by those I hurt, for the mistakes I made and I will forgive those who hurt me to. I wish for those who need hope, health, peace, food,  a warm home  or just some company during the holidays that you will be able to give it to the people in need, then it will be a happy Christmas for all of us.

Thank you Santa for listening to me, and hopefully you will be able to fulfill all our dreams and hopes!

Open letter to Caroline J. - Excuses for offeding you in the worst way!!!!!

Caroline,

I know that I have hurt you deeply with all the things I said to you, therefore I post this open letter on the internet so that you can read in public that I admit my guilt.

When I met you in Hochoetz for the first time, I was bewitched by your beauty and charms!!! Then, I had the honor to get to know you better and spent some wonderful vacations with you in the 9 months I was allowed to know you!!!!!

What happened with new year’s eve, well, I lost my mind!!!!! I called you a whore and many other bad things, but that was only because YOU mean so much to me, and I MISSED YOU SO MUCH!!!!

Since August 2012, we didn’t see each other no more, and I hoped so much to see you between August and the planned vacation in Oetz March 2013 again!!!!!!

If you would have asked me to come, even only for ONE DAY in that period between,  I would have jumped in my car, take a train or plane to come to you, or meet you wherever it would have suited you… but that question never came… and I remained disappointed…

I was looking so much forward to go skiing with you, having a good time, but you never wrote me when you would go to Oetz…

Since I offended you, many things have changed… I lost my job, got depressed, have no more car, and I cannot sleep well anymore… The only thing I think about is HOW CAN I MAKE ITUP TO YOU?????  But you don’t answer my emails, no reply on my SMS, no answer on a handwritten letter…  

Personally, I think everybody deserves a 2^nd chance and I truly hope you think so to!!!

Remember the great times we had:  Helsingborg in May and August, Antwerp, Bouillon,  camping at Venn, Hamburg, the dinners, the cycling, dancing, the birthday party and so much more…

I hereby want to apologize in public for those bad things I called you and want EVERYBODY TO KNOW THAT YOU ARE A WONDERFUL WOMAN AND THAT I WAS A STUPID IDIOT TO OFFEND YOU!!!!!!

PLEASE, give me a 2^nd chance and let me make it up to you!!!!!!

I NEVER meant to hurt you and I will NEVER do that again!!!!!!!!!!!! All I wanted was to give you the best and make you HAPPY!!! Just like your company made me the most happy man ever!!!!!

T-4 Days before take off to... The Oetztal!!!

My dear friends,

Finally, the day that I take of to the beautiful Alps is coming !!!!

Friday morning 4:00am, we will take of to the Oetztal and after a ride of 835km we will arrive...

Man, there's still a lot of snow on the mountains and in the valley, and I can't wait to get on my board again... First time this season, as I didn't have more time...

As we did the last three years, we will stay in Umhausen with a friend, and go boarding in Hochoetz . It's such a beauiful area, small, nice slopes, friendly people, nice aprés-ski huts and lot's of fun :o)

I am sooooo much looking forward to see my old friends again, rock the slopes and enjoy some good parties ;o)

Really, I recommend this area to everybbody: from beginner to expert, from "lone wolf" to a group, from youth until families... Everybody will find there something that he wants.

So for now, I continue packing and prepare everything... Soon, I hope to let you know some more, and also post pictures :o)

Okay my friends... I AM GETTING IN THE MOOD TO ROCK THE SLOPES !!! :D

FINALY WINTER FEELING !!!! Not here in Belgium, but my holiday is requested and in March, we take off to Hochoetz in the Oetztal / Austria !!!!

Now there is about 220cm of snow, and I hope that until we get there, there will be even MUCH more ;o)

Hochoetz is a small ski-area, but it's soooo much fun!!! Nice people, nice bars, clean slopes,... Just fine for riding!!!

As we will live in Umhausen, about 10km away from Oetz, I will meet all my friends again in the local pubs... MAN, I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO LEAVE!!! :o)

But still got to do some things:

- get my 2 lovely snowboards serviced

- get new gloves

- WORK ON MY SHAPE ;o)

- TRAINING IN APRÉS-SKI, for this one I am still looking for volunteers to assist in training ;o)))

WHERE IS THE WINTER??? :o(

OK my dear friends... WHERE IS THE WINTER???

Normally I love snowboarding, and I start to become crazy about this time of the year to get to the snow... But now... No interrest in snowboarding so far this 'winter'...

I feel more in the mood for go on a camping trip in the Ardennes with my buddies, dreaming about the tennis court and looking forward to get my new mountain bike... 

Strange feeling... Are the Gods crazy or did we have too much snow last year, so that this year there is no left for Belgium?

Well, I keep hoping for some snow and that my mood for snowboarding will still come, because in March we plan a trip to the Oetztal in Austria...
